White chocolate and berry waffles

Waffles are probably my second favorite breakfast alongside pancakes. With a good amount of frylight or a smidge of oil (make sure to count this), they are crisp and fluffy and oh so enjoyable. Just like the pancakes, the list of toppings is endless. My go-to is usually some fruit with a spread or sauce, and this time, I chose strawberries and white chocolate.

Ingredients to Make it:

  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg white
  • 4 tbsp of fat free yogurt
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp of sweetener (0.5)
  •  40g of rolled oats (hexb)
  • Desired amount of strawberries
  • 1 tbsp of Asda white chocolate spread (4.5)

Instructions to Make it:

  1. Preheat your waffle maker (medium-high) and blitz the rolled oats into a fine powder.
  2. Add egg white, fat-free yogurt, vanilla extract, and sweetener. Mix the ingredients, and once the waffles maker is heated, pour on the mixture and spread it out evenly—Cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, prepare your toppings (I chose strawberries with white chocolate spread drizzled on top and, once your desired texture, remove from the waffle maker, add your toppings and enjoy!

Notes

Make sure to count accordingly if you choose different toppings.
