- 1 pound of mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
- 1 clove garlic, finely diced
- salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
- Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling water according to package instructions.
- While pasta is cooking, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add mushrooms and cook until tender, about 8 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream, chicken stock, Parmesan cheese, parsley, chives, garlic, salt and black pepper. Cook until sauce is thickened and bubbly, about 5 minutes.
- Drain pasta and add it to the skillet with the mushroom sauce. Toss to coat.
