To make a pocket in a chicken breast, first cut a horizontal slit into the thicker end of the breast, making sure not to cut all the way through. Then, Carefully open up the slit like you would a book, so that you have a hole in the center of the chicken. Finally, stuff your desired filling inside of the pocket and close it up by pressing the edges together. You can either secure them with toothpicks or just cook them as is.

Tips On Making the Best Chicken Chesapeake:

There are a few things that you can do to make sure that your Chicken Chesapeake is as delicious as it can be. First, try to find a good quality filling to put inside the chicken pocket. You don’t want something that’s going to be dry or bland! Second, make sure that the chicken is cooked through before serving. You don’t want any undercooked meat lurking in there! Finally, be sure to enjoy it with some delicious sides. I recommend some steamed broccoli or a simple salad for a complete and satisfying meal.

Is it better to Bake chicken at 350 or 400?

The higher the temperature, the faster and more thoroughly the cooking will be. So if you’re short on time or want to expedite things, 400°F is your new best friend. It’s unlikely that it’ll result in a dryer chicken because of increased oil at top of the pan to brown skin. However, keep an eye out for crispy spots where the meat clumps together unattractively. The downside? Yes, 350°F can also produce deliciously cooked meat without this issue!
